Diese wurden von den Medien besprochen und von der NASA f\u00fcr interessant befunden. Sein theoretisches R\u00fcstzeug und praktisches Anschauungsmaterial hat er aus seiner Promotion zu diesem Thema, die ein Vierteljahrhundert zur\u00fcckliegt. Seit 2022 liegt der Fokus auf Dialogsystemen f\u00fcr tote und gef\u00e4hrdete Sprachen. Es entstanden <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/2311.14741\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@ve<\/a>, ein Chatbot f\u00fcr Latein (Implementierung durch Karim N\u2019diaye), <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s41870-024-01779-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@llegra<\/a>, ein Chatbot mit Sprachausgabe f\u00fcr Vallader, ein Idiom des R\u00e4toromanischen (Implementierung durch Dalil Jabou), und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maschinenethik.net\/?p=9868\">kAIxo<\/a>, ein Chatbot mit Sprachausgabe f\u00fcr Baskisch (Implementierung durch Nicolas Lluis Araya). Zudem experimentiert Oliver Bendel mit Chatbots f\u00fcr ausgestorbene Sprachen wie \u00c4gyptisch und Akkadisch. Die Welt hat am 1. April 2025 einen Artikel zu seiner Arbeit ver\u00f6ffentlicht, mitsamt einem l\u00e4ngeren Interview, in dem der Technikphilosoph die M\u00f6glichkeiten und Beschr\u00e4nkungen von gro\u00dfen Sprachmodellen in diesem Kontext dargelegt. Cleop@tr@ nutzt die Multimodalit\u00e4t von GPT-4 f\u00fcr ihre \u00dcbersetzungen und Deutungen.
