In einem Tweet vom 28. Oktober 2022 schreibt das nach eigenen Angaben \u00e4lteste vegetarische Restaurant der Welt: &#8222;Bei uns sind alle herzlich willkommen: Ob Mensch, Tier oder Roboter. Das ist Billi \u2013 unsere neue Unterst\u00fctzung am Hiltl[-]Buffet. Begleite Billi am 1. Arbeitstag in der Hiltl Sihlpost oder statte gleich einen Besuch ab.&#8220; Bei Billi handelt es sich offenbar um BellaBot, einen weiblich anmutenden Serviceroboter aus China. Dieser verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber ein Display, auf dem ein animiertes Katzengesicht mit gro\u00dfen (oder vor Wonne zusammengekniffenen) Augen, Mund und Schnurrbarthaaren zu sehen ist, zudem \u00fcber schwarze \u00d6hrchen aus Kunststoff. Adrian Lobe hatte Prof. Dr. Oliver Bendel Ende 2021 f\u00fcr die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.informationsethik.net\/roboter-als-bedienungen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TAZ<\/a> zu BellaBot interviewt. Er wollte u.a. wissen, ob solche Modelle, die weibliche Attribute aufnehmen, Stereotype bef\u00f6rdern. Der Informations- und Maschinenethiker hat nichts dagegen, dass soziale Roboter ein Geschlecht vorgeben und z.B. eine weibliche oder m\u00e4nnliche Stimme haben. Dies bringt in vielen Menschen etwas zum Klingen. Eine neutrale Stimme leistet dies nicht unbedingt. Zugleich ist es seiner Ansicht nach nicht notwendig, in allen Zusammenh\u00e4ngen weitreichende humanoide oder animaloide Erscheinungsformen zu w\u00e4hlen. Ein europ\u00e4ischer Konkurrent zu BellaBot ist mit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.robophilosophy.com\/archives\/2269\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plato<\/a> entstanden. Er wurde im November 2022 von der United Robotics Group auf den Markt gebracht. Plato hat gro\u00dfe runde Augen, Augenbrauen und einen Mund, die ebenfalls Animationen auf einem Display sind.
