Es besteht aus f\u00fcnf Teilen: „Grundlagen, -begriffe und -fragen“, „Soziale Robotik und andere Disziplinen“, „Gestaltung, Interaktion und Kommunikation“, „Anwendungsbereiche sozialer Roboter“ und „Die Zukunft sozialer Roboter“. Es sind, das Vorwort mitgez\u00e4hlt, 30 Beitr\u00e4ge, mit ca. 35 Abbildungen, bei ca. 570 Seiten. Der Untertitel lautet: „Technikwissenschaftliche, wirtschaftswissenschaftliche, philosophische, psychologische und soziologische Grundlagen“.
