The prestigious event was last held in <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.robophilosophy.com\/archives\/2350\">Florence<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0(2022) and\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.informationsethik.net\/ein-gruppenbild-von-der-icsr-2023\/\">Qatar<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0(2023). Now it enters its next round. The 16th edition will bring together researchers and practitioners working on human-robot interaction and the integration of social robots into our society. The title of the conference includes the addition \u201eAI\u201c. This is a clarification and demarcation that has to do with the fact that there will be two further formats with the name ICSR in 2024. ICSR\u201924 (ICSR + AI) will take place as a face-to-face conference in Odense, Denmark, from 23 to 26 October 2024. The theme of this year\u2019s conference is \u201eEmpowering Humanity: The role of social and collaborative robotics in shaping our future\u201c. The topics of the Call for Papers include \u201ecollaborative robots in service applications (in construction, agriculture, etc.)\u201c, \u201eHuman-robot interaction and collaboration\u201c, \u201eAffective and cognitive sciences for socially interactive robots\u201c, and \u201eContext awareness, expectation, and intention understanding\u201c. The general chairs are Oskar Palinko, University of Southern Denmark, and Leon Bodenhagen, University of Southern Denmark. The deadline for full papers has already passed.
