Auf dem Cover ist sie angek\u00fcndigt mit den Worten &#8222;Die Sexroboter kommen: Wie Hightech das Intimleben \u00e4ndern k\u00f6nnte&#8220;. Am 13. Juni 2016 hatte Oliver Bendel in Telepolis den Artikel &#8222;Die Sexroboter kommen: Die Frage ist nur, wie und wann&#8220; ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Heute, fast zehn Jahre sp\u00e4ter, ist die Antwort klar: Liebespuppen spielen eine gewisse Rolle, Sexroboter kaum. In der Serie kommen Kritiker wie Kathleen Richardson ebenso zu Wort wie Entwickler wie Brian Sloan (Autoblow), Filmemacher wie Johannes Grenzfurthner (Arse Elektronika) und Unternehmer wie Philipp Fussenegger (Cybrothel). Und Oliver Bendel, der 2020 das Springer-Buch &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/book\/10.1007\/978-3-658-29864-7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maschinenliebe<\/a>&#8220; herausgegeben und das Ph\u00e4nomen zusammen mit prominenten Kollegen und Kolleginnen erforscht hat. Er r\u00e4t dazu, mehr empirische Forschung in diesem Bereich zu treiben. Eine gelegentliche Nutzung von Liebespuppen und Sexrobotern h\u00e4lt er f\u00fcr unproblematisch, eine anhaltende Beziehung dagegen f\u00fcr eine Verschwendung von Gef\u00fchl und Zeit. Die Gespr\u00e4che hat Airen gef\u00fchrt und protokolliert, ein Schriftsteller und Journalist, der in Mexiko lebt. Frankfurter Allgemeine Quarterly ist ab 12.
